On 24th and 26th Jan. 2021, the Department of Electronics and E'lectronique' — The Electronics Society of Sri Aurobindo College organized a Free Workshop —
"BUG BOUNTY"
Our guest instructor was also an alumni of ours, Mr. Mayank Bharti[ www.mayankbharti.com ]
He nowadays works as a Sr. Security Analyst for a leading firm, Cybrotech Pvt. Ltd.
Given the ongoing pandemic, this workshop of ours was planned and executed on virtual platform "Google Meet".
What is BUG BOUNTY?
BUG BOUNTY program is a deal offered by many websites, organizations and software developers by which individuals can receive recognition and compensation for reporting bugs, especially those pertaining to security exploits and vulnerabilities.
— DAY 1 (24th Jan. 2021) —
The DAY 1 of the workshop took place from 3 PM to 6 PM. All of us learnt a lot of new things. We understood the working of a lot of things like hacking protocols, types of hacker, dark web etc. There were many inquisitive participants who asked a whole lot of questions to Mr. Mayank Bharti.

— DAY 2 (26th Jan. 2021) —
The DAY 2 of the workshop was also successful with all the participants getting a more hands-on approach on the topic. The participants were also asked to perform tasks assigned by the instructor.
