E'lectronique' — The Departmental Society of Electronics organised their Departmental Freshers for our juniors (or as they're belovedly called fuchchas)!!
Given the ongoing pandemic, this annual event of ours was worked out on virtual platform "Google Meet". –🤩🤩
✨ Virtual Fresher's ✨
-: 10th JAN. 2021 :-
The event commenced on 11:30 AM with some positive, enlightening words from all of our departmental teachers, which filled the Freshers with zeal and vigour.
After addressing the Freshers by the Teachers. The Freshers one by one gave their introduction, which was well executed by our hosts of the day, Manshi and Rohan Chaurasia.
It was followed by a Presentation, here have a look —
Following which Ranjit Rana showed us his gift of mimicry, and Muskan Godwani and Rohit Arora displayed their talent by a couple of soulful poems and mesmerizing music.
Performances —
• "MIMICRY" by Ranjit Rana of 2nd year that brings a great laughter on the faces of Everyone.
• "POEM" by Muskan Godwani which brought down everyone emotionally and at the same time brought Memories and Time spent together with our batchmates.
• "SONG" by Rohit Arora which made everyone to tap the floors and catch the beat.
A talent show showcasing the abilities of our juniors left all of us spellbound. Couple of games were also hosted to see if our guests have the electric-like (pun intended) presence of mind to be in the Electronics Hons. course.
Games —
• Game 1: On Spot Matching (Nikita & Ishu)
The first game by Ishu and Nikita was called as "On Spot Matching" in which 2 pictures were shown and freshers have to tell which is the common image between both the pictures and along with the hosts: Ishu and Nikita's commentary which sparks laughter throughout.
• Game 2: Scribble (Khushi & Bharat)
Bharat and Khushi conducted a game called "Scribble" where the showed sketches to the juniors and they had to guess what the sketch is off.
• Game 3: Guess The Movie (Somu & Venkie)
Last game by Saumoditya and Venkatesh was "Guess the Movie" in which a movie scene/minimal poster of the movie was shown and they had to tell which film is been represented there.
All in all, even though this freshers was somewhat different from the previous renditions, but the hosts left no stone unturned and made sure this event has any less lacklustre than the preceding ones.
Loads of gratitude to all the volunteers from the second and third year who made this program successful.
-: Fresher of The Year :-
After the Event was over, it was time to present the TITLES to the Fresher's. Various Talents were virtually sent by our Juniors & all of them were fabulous. It was tough to decide One "Fresher of The Year" so, here's the plot-twist, we decided to present it to both amazingly talented freshers.

-: Sparkling Fireball :-
Arpit earned the Title of "Sparkling Fireball" for being an amazing performer in all the games conducted throughout the Fresher's.
-: Eager Beaver :-
The title "Eager Beaver" is presented to Atul & Yash for being the most responsive & active participant throughout the event.
This Virtual Freshers was conducted smoothly. Loads of gratitude to all the volunteers from the second and third year who made this program successful.
