The Department of Electronics of Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi organized the International Conference of Undergraduate Students of Electronics, more commonly known as the ICONICS-UG on the 15th of February 2021, for UG students across the globe 🌎, wherein the students showcased their innovation making prowess in the field of electronics.

This event, which was originally planned to be organized physically, but the ongoing pandemic upsetted our apple cart, so it was executed on the popular virtual platform "Zoom".
The event initiated with "Maa Saraswati Vandana". We all prayed for our brighter future and happiness in life.
A documentary that gave a sneak peek into our college was presented to the participants to introduce them to our college.
Our Principal, Dr. Vipin Aggarwal and all the professors of Electronics Department i.e. Dr. R.P. Rishishwar, Mrs. Shobhna Chandra, Dr. Vandna Bhalla, Dr. P. P. Singh, Dr. Manju Pruthi, Mr. Avanish Yadav, Dr. Mamta Sharma, Dr. Rinki Sharma & Dr. Anita Kumari joined and were kind enough to spare us a couple of motivating words. Our guest professors were all proficient in their field and had authorative knowledge about the subject.
The event took place from 2 PM to 6 PM. Dr. Anita Kumari commenced the presentation session of the event by welcoming each of the participants by their name. We saw demonstration of a lot of projects by students of different colleges all across the country. Every participant/team of participants were given 5 minutes to present their theory paper on their respective projects, in which they presented the abstract, synopsis and details of their innovative work.
Our esteemed judges listened to the participants with great interest and also interviewed the participants based on their research paper. Many projects clearly showed many days of hard work for their research paper and even our judges were ecstatic to see each of the presentation. The judges also felt difficulty in analyzing each of the presentation since everyone presented their research very professionally.

All in all, the ICONICS-UG was a huge success. Thanks to our judges who took some time out from their busy schedule to enlighten the participants. The presence of all of our professors is also greatly acknowledged, who imparted parts of their wisdom with us.
